It was published on 19 April 2018; the District officer of the Little League District 01 disclosed that the Excellers Little League baseball Club of Ibadan would participate at the forthcoming Europe and Africa Tournaments.

He stated that the regional tournament would kick off from July 12 to July 17 2018 in Kutno, Poland. He added that the club was selected to represent the country having won the district competition that was held from April 6 to April 10 in Ibadan.
